The album includes 4 special heartfelt songs written by Kelita, two of which are dedicated to the children who are suffering all around the world. *(As an accomplished producer, Gord has worked with 100 Huntley Street, Marlene O’Neill, Toronto Blue Jays, Home Hardware, CHFI radio, Susan Aglukark, Living Truth, Campus Crusade for Christ and others. "Not Just This Christmas" is a song written by Kelita inspired by a televised program on the childhood slavery in Cambodia. This song gave rise to the fundraising project and gave birth to the vision to put words into action. It speaks not only to suffering children but people who find Christmas a difficult time of year.

“Heavenly Night”, the title track of the album, is a song inspired after the birth of Kelita and her husband Gord Lemon ’s only child Keldon, and has been recorded by famed performer Michael Burgess and others. It has become Kelita’s signature song during the Christmas season. As a new mother, Kelita was overwhelmed by the love for her baby. Kelita’s mind wandered to Mary as the mother of Jesus and could relate to Mary feeling those very same emotions of a love for her child. Kelita recalled the mothers in the world where genocide and famine has taken place and her heart cried for the mothers who feel so helpless as they hold their dying babies.

Excerpt from "Heavenly Night"

Close your eyes and say a prayer
Pray for the children everywhere
Pray for the babies where soldiers fight
That they might know
Peace for one night
For one Heavenly Night.

"Christmas Always Brings You Home" is the most recent song Kelita wrote especially for the new CD. Kelita’s music has taken her to the Middle East at Christmas time to perform for serving Canadian Peace Keepers. This song was inspired by all those who are away from their families but also for the many married couples who are separating and divorcing. "There's such a strong bond between Christmas, home and those we love."
